I would like to go the same way my grandfather had. He went blind in one eye and started to lose sight in his other but not completely before he passed away. My grandfather was always smiling and joyous despite his handicap. If that isn’t zen, if that isn’t contentment with your surroundings, if that isn’t finding that elysium that you’re searching for, then I don’t know what the feeling of being ‘at peace’ means. The moral to this is simple; surround yourself with family and friends that love you until it hurts. It is beneficial to everyone in that held moment in time, so enjoy it.

Here we are in the moment of truth. The only worse thing than not knowing what she will do, is not knowing what I will do.
